Institute for Regional Conservation:
The Institute for Regional Conservation is dedicated to the protection, restoration, and long-term management of biodiversity on a regional basis, and to the prevention of regional extinctions of rare plants, animals, and natural communities. The Institute maintains the Floristic Inventory of South Florida, a database of all vascular plants in the region. |

The Florida Exotic Pest Plant Council builds public awareness about the threat invasive plants pose to native ecosystems. The Council compiles, ranks, and maintains lists of Florida's most invasive species. |
